Maria Lauer is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who treats asthma and allergies in children and adults. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and Master’s of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. She joined the team at CHAAA in 2019. Prior to entering the world of allergy, Maria worked in a variety of locations, including the pediatric emergency department, urgent care, and primary care.
As a food-allergy mom herself, Maria understands the fear and anxiety that parents have with this diagnosis, and also the peace of mind that new treatment therapies at CHAAA can offer. She enjoys working together with patients and families to help them achieve a better quality of life through understanding their conditions and creating individualized therapies.
